This list is not intended to be exhaustive but to give an idea of the types of diseases and their prospective causes. Suffering from one of the diseases listed does not necessarily mean you will have a successful claim or be able to claim compensation.
What should I do if I believe I am suffering from an Industrial Disease?
The first step if you believe you are suffering from an Industrial Disease would be to call us so we can assess you claim for compensation and advise you on whether you will be eligible to claim.
The second step is to go see your GP (if you have not done so already) who will need to establish a relationship between your symptoms and a possible cause. We can advise you on how to go about this.
Further to this any medical(s) instigated by our solicitors will cost you nothing, they will be paid for by the solicitor and claimed back as a disbursement from the other side.
